In the paper "A Very Deep Spectrum of the Diffuse Ionized Gas in NGC 891" by Richard J. Rand (ApJ, 474, 129 [1997]), there are mistakes in Figures 9 and 11. In Figure 9, the y-axis scales should be multiplied by a factor of 5 to be in EM units. In Figure 11, the y-axis scale of the top panel should be the same as that of the bottom panel. In addition, the profiles for z=3 kpc have been multiplied by a factor of 9 (not stated in the caption). None of the analysis or conclusions of the paper is affected.
