The velocity dispersion, diameters, integrated luminosity, virial mass, and the ratio of the virial mass to the luminosity are estimated for 41 triplets of galaxies with measured radial velocities of each component. These quantities are also determined for a sample of simulated triplets selected by applying the same criteria of isolation of a triple system to the apparent distribution of galaxies brighter than 15.7 M using a random sampling method. A comparison of these two samples shows an unexpectedly large number of spurious triplets having diameters, velocity dispersion, and virial masses close to the corresponding parameters determined by Karachentseva et al. (1979). The spurious triple systems of galaxies are eliminated, and it is found that the presumed physical triplets have the following mean physical parameters: diameter approximately 50 kpc, peculiar velocity approximately 70 km/sec of the members, total luminosity approximately 5 x 10 to the 10th solar luminosities, and the ratio of the virial mass to the luminosity approximately 10 solar-f.
