To limit gravitational effects of a point mass beyond its causal sphere, a non-Newtonian potential is proposed with an exponential attenuation factor that depends on Hubble's length. Potentials corresponding to various volumes are computed. Laplace's and Poisson's equations appear to be limiting cases obtained for an infinitely old universe. A correspondence is established with various cosmological features (cosmological constant, Friedmann's equation). The proposed potential is of the Yukawa type, Hubble's length playing the role of an interaction range.
