Radio surveys of supernova remnants (SNRs) in the Galaxy have discovered 19 SNRs accompanied by OH maser emission at 1720MHz. These unusual maser sources are suggested to be produced behind a shock front from the expansion of a supernova remnant running into a molecular cloud. An important ingredient of this model is that X-ray emission from the remnant enhances the production of OH molecules. To study X-ray characteristics of mixed-morphology supernova remnants accompanied by OH maser emission at 1720MHz is vary important. The X-ray characteristics have been studied. Some correlation and anti-correlation among the X-ray physical parameters have been obtained. The ionization rate of X-ray is not correlated with q, D, r, r2, respectively, but it is correlated with X-ray luminosity Lx. Meantime Lx is correlated with the beam flux density of the weakest feature of OH maser emission at 1720MHz accompanied by SNRs very well. These mean that the X-ray emission from the SNRs is sufficient to dissociate water molecules behind a shock front and produce the OH1720MHz masers.
