Fifty-four stars in M33 comparison sequences identified by Hubble have been remeasured using CCD photometry. A recalibration of Hubble's b(pg) scale is also used to reevaluate the Cepheid photometry published by Hubble. The apparent relative distance modulus of M33 relative to the LMC is 6.20 + or - 0.05 mag. Reddening considerations and comparisons with Freedman's (1985) analysis of CCD photometry of M33 Cepheids suggest that the mean reddening to M33 Cepheids is higher than for LMC Cepheids, and that the true relative distance modulus to M33 from the LMC derived from Hubble's data is 5.55 + or - 0.15 mag, in remarkably good agreement with previous CCD and IR photometric studies. Therefore, using the CCD data to directly calibrate Hubble's data, the early photographic work has been reconciled with modern results.
