Some aspects concerning the effects of solar X-ray bursts on the
ionosphere are analysed. The flux of solar X-ray bursts, the concerned
emission measure and the plasma temperature are deduced or estimated
from LF (100 kHz) signals. The results closely conform with satellite
measurements.
