Bound motions of a particle in the field of a cylinder and a double cone are described in the limit of a small ratio of cylinder or cone radius to cylinder or cone length. Analytic expressions are derived for the field of forces in the space around the middle of such a body. Then the motion of a material point in this field is considered. The point moves on a circular or eccentric orbit around the middle of the body and oscillates in the direction of the body. The period of revolution proves to be of the order of magnitude of ten hours, the period of the oscillations being larger by one order, for a density of the body of about 0.1 g/cu cm. Distance and speed at apocenter or pericenter as well as the polar angle between these two points are connected with the three quantities characterizing the body: length, radius, and density. The astronomical observation of the orbit makes it possible to determine three of these quantities if two of them are known.
