The effects of elastic collisions between He atoms and protons of the interstellar plasma on the characteristics of neutral He inside the heliosphere are investigated. It is observed that the coupling causes a decrease in the bulk velocity and an increase in the velocity dispersion of neutral He flow. The data reveal that for hydrogen the dominant process of energy/momentum transfer from the plasma to neutral flow is charge exchange and for He it is elastic collision.
