The activity of the IAU working group on cartographic coordinates and rotational elements of the moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus, and the Saturn and Jovian satellites is reviewed. Some results of studies associated with the determination of the direction of the pole of rotation of these planets and satellites and with the selection of the zero meridian and cartographic coordinates are examined.
