Stars: Individual: Gk Per, Stars: Novae And Cataclysmic Variables

We present high speed photometric observations in the U band of the old
nova GK Per during the 1986 optical outburst. We discuss periodicities
found at about 40 seconds, half an hour and an hour. No coherent optical
counterpart of the 351s X-ray pulse was detected. Occasionally, periods
slightly larger than the X-ray period have been however observed.
