An investigation of electromagnetic scattering by plasma turbulence pulsations of the solar corona providing required power for the radar echo is presented. Expressions for an effective scattering cross-section were derived for two cases: (1) for an electromagnetic wave scattered by Langmuir turbulence of an isotropic plasma, and (2) for a wave scattered on ion-acoustic waves. The numerical estimates show that four-plasmon interactions of the electromagnetic radiation and the coronal turbulent pulsations can account for the results of the radar observations of the sun.
