The paper presents a study of the thermonuclear runaways which develop on white dwarfs of 1.205 solar mass and 1.358 solar mass accreting hydrogen rich material at 10 to the -10 solar mass per year. It is found that ignition of this material occurs at densities in excess of about 10 to the 4 gm per cu cm. In addition, it is found that the critical mass required to initiate the runaway is 0.7(1.5) x 10 to the -4 solar mass for a 1.358(1.205) solar mass white dwarf.
