The present treatment of the stable regions of the triangular libration points in the restricted three-body problem derives an l/l ideal-resonance model and subjects it to a detailed quantitative analysis. Accurate analytical expressions of the half-width of the ordinary libration region and the resonant period in the deep libration region are presented. A comparison is then conducted between the l/l ideal resonance model and the planar circular restricted three-body problem; a simple correspondence relation between on-plane trajectory and on-plane locus is noted. Attention is given to the effects of several perturbing factors.
