New radial velocity data have been obtained for several giant stars in
the LMC globular clusters NGC 1466, 1841, and 2257. This information,
together with a rediscussion of the clusters' true distances from the
center of the Large Cloud, suggests that NGC 1466 may belong to the
Galaxy rather than to the LMC.
