The deflagration, detonation, delayed detonation, pulsating delayed detonation, and tamped detonation scenarios for Type Ia SNs are here addressed by the bolometric, blue, and visual light curves generated by a set of theoretical models. Several correlations between observable quantities and model parameters are found which allow for discrimination between models. Standard and nonstandard models are distinguished by the time-dependence of the photospheric expansion velocity, which is directly measurable by the Doppler shift of spectral lines.
