As part of a regular spectroscopic follow-up run of candidate transients of the Palomar Transient Factory , we obtained a spectrum of PTF10bt -- also announced earlier today as SN2010B (see CBET#2115, discovery by Masaki Tsuboi). This observation was performed with the Double Beam Spectrograph on the Palomar 200-inch telescope at UT 2010 Jun 9.47.
