The transient A1744-36 = XTE J1748-361 is again in outburst. RXTE PCA scans have observed 2-10 keV fluxes of 2.7(0.6), 12.6(0.8),and 23.8 (0.4) mCrab on Jul 7.354, Jul 10.941 and Jul 14.04 (UT), respectively. In Novemeber 2003 and in April 2004, PCA scans of the Galactic Bulge saw outbursts from a source consistent with the positions of the discovery observations by Ariel V and the RXTE ASM (Atels # 265, #255, #204).
