The galaxy M101 (NGC 5457) has been mapped in the 21-cm H I line using a combination of the Westerbork Synthesis Radio Telescope and the Jodrell Bank Mark I Radio Telescope. The angular resolution is 24 x 30 arcsec and the velocity resolution 27 km/s. The data are presented in the form of contour diagrams and photographic representations of individual channel maps and of the integrated H I map.
