We determined the effective temperature, surface gravity, and spectroscopic distance simultaneously, for 35 DBs with spectra obtained by the IUE satellite. We used the recalibrated spectra and available magnitudes to assure the derived distances. As UV spectra alone cannot tightly restrict the gravity, we calculated the absolute magnitude from the apparent magnitude when available, and spectroscopic distance, to cross correlate the spectra and magnitude solutions. We obtained a pure DB instability strip, ranging from 25 400≥ Teff}≥ 22 700, for this homogeneous data set.
