We present calculations of the oscillator strengths of Fe II
λλ2507, 2509, which are the strongest observed lines in
the emission spectrum of the B and D Weigelt blobs of η Carinae.
Unlike previous determinations of these oscillator strengths, our
results are compatible with the modeling undertaken by Verner et al.
