Since its founding in 2002 the Society for the History of Astronomy has
gone from strength to strength. It now boasts a healthy international
membership, maintains a library and archive, organizes meetings and
other events, and publishes a newsletter and a journal. It serves a
valuable function for the international history of astronomy community.
