Both X-rays and gravitational lensing are highly recognized paths to carry out cosmological studies, with several space missions being prepared: eROSITA, EUCLIDE, JDEM. Galaxy clusters which are going to be found in all those surveys will provide a quantum leap in our understanding of the Cosmology. We propose here a unique path-finder survey optimized for a joint X-ray and gravitational lensing cluster detection in the redshift range of 0.1-1. This proposal is a joint program on calibrating and extending the 400 square degree survey to pursue the measurement of dark energy to 3% accuracy achieved in a combination with WMAP, BAO and SN experiments.
