The 1.9-m telescope of the South African Astronomical Observatory was
used to obtain 20 high resolution (R˜39000) echelle spectra for
six southern Cepheids: XX Sgr, AP Sgr, RV Sco, RY Sco, V482 Sco, and
V636 Sco. Radial velocities, atmospheric parameters and chemical
composition of these stars were determined.
