Ion acoustic solitary waves in three-component plasmas with nonisothermal electrons, positrons and ions are studied. The Sagdeev pseudo-potential method has been used in this work. The trapping parameter ( β), the ratio of the free electron temperature to the trapped electron temperature, is treated as a variable. We study the effect of β on the speed of solitons.
