The authors interpret the recently observed large glitch of PSR 0355+54 and its post-glitch relaxation within the vortex creep model applied previously to the post-glitch timing data for the Crab and Vela pulsars and for PSR 0525+21. A linear response regime of vortex creep is shown to explain the post-glitch observations and is likely to be operative in parts of the neutron star crust superfluid.
