We report preliminary results of an ongoing study to determine the star formation history in a halo/outer-disk region of M33. We have deep V and I photometric images in a 6.8' x 6.8' region approximately 20' in the southeast direction from the center of M33. The data are >95% complete down to I ˜\ 24.0 and 50% complete at I ˜\ 24.8. We have analyzed these data using the StarFISH code of Harris & Zaritsky (2001), which is applied to the color-magnitude diagram to study the chemical enrichment and star formation history of this region in M33. In addition, we are also able to disentangle the relative contributions of disk and halo stars. This research was supported by NSF CAREER grant AST 00-94048.
