Sunspots, Solar Oscillations

The advanced filter theory of 3 min oscillations in the sunspot atmosphere is presented. The double coupled resonance of sunspot chromosphere, temperature minimum and upper photosphere is explored. The effect of amplitude modulation of sunspot oscillations is revealed. The nonlinear effects are included in the consideration. The local 3 min oscillations and umbral flashes are discussed. The comparison of the theory and observations is carried out.
