This paper gives the results of a new multiconfiguration calculation of
forbidden transition probabilities for low-lying states of Co II. In
addition, those forbidden transition probabilities of Co I, Co III, Ni
I, Ni II, Ni III, and A II which are relevant for the interpretation of
infra-red lines from SN1987A are summarized.
