The geometry of the broad line region in Akn 120 is discussed. The Balmer and C IV line profiles at two light-months from the center are derived, taking advantage of the variability properties of Akn 120. A quantitative analysis of these profiles reveals that the broad-line region is made of two distinct regions. One in particular appears as a disklike structure, a couple of light-months in size, which is interpreted as an accretion disk orbiting a massive object. The characteristics of this disk line emission provide constraints on the inclination of the disk, i not greater than 60 deg, and on the mass of the central object M(BH) not less than 7 x 10 to the 7th solar masses.
