The author shows that cosmic inhomogeneity spectra steeper than CDM in the 10 - 102Mpc range provide better fits to the angular correlation function and the peak statistics in COBE-DMR maps for practically any value of the cosmic density, and give relief to the quadrupole discrepancy. CDM + texture models with Ω0 ≅ 0.7 are especially successful in linking the 10 Mpc and 103Mpc regions.
