Supernova 1998bw and several other extreme Type Ic supernovae show strong evidence of asymmetry. We have segmented the jet induced model for these objects by Maeda & Nomoto into several slices and modelled each of slices as independent objects. We compare a sequence of early spectra of SN 1998bw to the spectra of these slice and also to a composit spectrum made from all of the segments.
