First-order perturbation theory models for uniformly rotating stars with a predominantly dipolar magnetic field with axis inclined at an angle pi/2 to the rotation axis have been computed, both in strict radiative equilibrium and with the inclusion of finite resistivity and meridional circulation. In some ways the results are similar to the previous calculations with aligned rotation and magnetic axes. However, a positive correlation between rotation speed and surface flux for a given internal magnetic flux is found. This effect, although small for much of the parameter space investigated, is in contrast to the increasing ratio of interior to surface flux found as the rotation speed increases in the aligned models.
