Graphs are presented of the dynamic spectra of anomalous night-time radio bursts which were recorded with a 48-channel polarized high resolution radio spectrograph operating at a frequency range from 20.85 to 23.20 MHz. The level of the bursts is comparable to that of the strongest Jovian bursts observed close to the opposition of the planet. At the time of the recording of the night-time radio bursts, a strong solar radio event was in progress. On the basis of observations made at various locations it is concluded that the bursts are of solar type III.
