The structure of diffuse interstellar bands is examined using spectra obtained in La Silla, Chile with the ESO coude echelle spectrograph combined with the coude auxiliary telescope. Emphasis is given to the structural characteristics of the yellow and a few of the red bands. Also, the relationship between the diffuse interstellar bands and other interstellar features is discussed.
