Detailed computations of infrared efficiency factors are presented for twenty materials capable of being present in the form of dust in interstellar space. Experimentally determined dielectric constants have been used. The calculations have been performed for two cases: (1) homogeneous spherical grains and (2) ice-core mantle grains. For case (2), several possibilities for core and mantle size have been considered in order to cover a wide spread of physical conditions. A discussion of the results is also given.
