Equivalent widths of the Balmer H-alpha, H-beta, and H-gamma lines were measured for 175 main-sequence B-F stars and compared with curves calculated from various model stellar atmospheres. When averaged over each spectral subtype, the equivalent widths are well represented by the standard models; this confirms the previous finding of Glushneva and Doroshenko (1980) that the models are fully consistent with the observations.
