A photoelectric UBVRI sequence near the spiral galaxy NGC 300 in the region of the south galactic pole is presented which may be used for the calibration of stellar magnitudes. Photometric measurements of the sequence stars, which range in magnitude from 8.7 to 20.0, were made in the Johnson UBV and Kron-Cousins RI systems with telescopes ranging in aperture from 0.4 to 4 m. The average V, (U-B), (B-V), (V-R), (R-I) magnitudes and indices presented for the 17 stars of the sequence are noted to be especially useful for the calibration of the Pickering-Racine prism used to extend photometric magnitude sequences to fainter limits on photographic plates.
