The purpose of this note is to draw attention again to the emission-line star Henize S 18 in the Small Magellanic Cloud. A good quality image tube spectrogram (114 Å mm-1) of this star is described. The Balmer lines from Hβ to H 13, λ4686 of He II and the three lines of multiplet 42 of Fe II show P Cygni profiles. The velocity difference between the emission and absorption components of the hydrogen lines is ΔV= 560 km-1. He I, [Fe II], [Ni II], Ti II, and Ca II lines are present in emission.
