The low-lying excited 0+ states populated in large abundance
in several deformed nuclei through two-nucleon transfer reaction
experiments are thoroughly investigated within a microscopic multiphonon
framework. The approach reproduces satisfactorily the experimental data
and provides exhaustive information about the nature of those states.
