Supernova Remnants (SNRs) are widely believed to be the acceleration sites of the Galactic cosmic ray population. Observations of TeV gamma rays from SNRs allow us to probe the cosmic ray population in these environments, since the interactions of cosmic ray populations can lead to the production of gamma-ray photons. We present here the results of observations with the VERITAS Cherenkov telescope array of very high energy gamma rays from the historical SNR G120.1+1.4 (Tycho's SNR). The source is clearly detected, with a TeV gamma-ray flux below 1% that of the steady Crab Nebula flux.
