The Gamma-ray Coordinates Network (GCN) is continually being modified and enhanced to serve the world community for real-time transient astronomy. We discuss the new filtering scheme which adds 8 new functions, including type-by-type filtering on intensity, location error, significance, and confidence, and new global filtering based on sky location in celestial, galactic and ecliptic coordinate systems. This will allow the follow-up user community more flexibility in selecting which notices they receive. Several new notice type have also been added, which gets GCN farther into the non-GRB time-domain astronomy field.
