Scientific paper

Mathematical modeling was used to assess the influence of the I-R effect
on the width of the Geminids as observed from the earth surface as well
as on the shift of the shower activity maximum as a function of meteroid
mass. Analytical expressions are obtained for averaged variations of the
orbital elements of meteroids perturbed by the I-R force.
