The Atacama Cosmology Telescope (ACT) has surveyed hundreds of square degrees with arcminute resolution at mm wavelengths. Multi-frequency ACT observations of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) have shed light on several fundamental cosmological parameters. We present the ACT constraints on parameters such as the number of relativistic species, the primordial tensor-to-scalar ratio, the spectral index of adiabatic fluctuations, the integrated power from the Sunyaev-Zeldovich effect in galaxy clusters, and structure formation from a sub-dominant cosmic string component.
