Results are reported from uvby-beta photometry of 24 B, A, and F stars in the vicinity of the shell star Alpha Ori and 13 stars from the list of Perry and Johnston (1982). Data obtained using the 1.5-m telescope at Calar Alto during January 1989 are presented in graphs and briefly characterized. The reddening values derived show that the absorbing material around Alpha Ori has a very irregular distribution, as found by Knapp and Bowers (1988).
