Over the last decade, it has become possible to obtain high precision measurements of stellar orbits at the Galactic center. I will report the latest measurements from Keck Observatory's laser guide star system, which have allowed us to directly estimate of the properties of our Galaxy's supermassive black hole (most relevantly to this session Ro) and have provided insight into the origin of the young stars that exist in this region in spite of the extreme tidal field.
