The use of QUASAT satellite VLBI data for studies of galactic objects, nearby flaring stars, collapsed stellar objects with accretion disks, the interstellar medium, and pulsars is discussed. Temporal resolutions of milliseconds for solar emission, minutes for nearby flaring stars and hours for collapsed stellar objects is necessary. The sensitivity of QUASAT should be maximized to allow the maximum number of galactic objects to be studied. The mission will study solar flaring emission scales of 700 km, nearby stars at resolutions of a fraction of the stellar disks, and collapsed objects at resolutions of the stellar systems, to yield an understanding of plasma gyrosynchrotron emission on the Sun and nearby stars, and synchrotron emission from disks of collapsed objects. The baselines available to QUASAT are comparable to the diffraction pattern size scales of the interstellar medium. Experiments using QUASAT will contribute to understanding of the velocity and structure of the interstellar medium.
