The method developed by Adams (1974) in a study of analytic supernova models is extended to describe the relativistic collapse of an anisotropic sphere. Consideration is given to static equilibrium equations derived from Einstein's field equations. An anisotropic law is obtained which yields collapse results that vary as a function of the magnitudes of the pressure parameters.
