SS 433, which is a small-scale object in the Galaxy with cool gas in its jets, indicates that the jets are probably accelerated by radiation pressure and partially collimated by nozzles formed in the location where a dense accretion disk comes in contact with heating and high pressures near the central source. The jets consist of many dense condensations with the temperature of 10,000 K, and the filling factor of 0.0001; these values probably result from thermal instability near the nozzle and are contained by thermal pressure of hot (10 to the 8th K) gas in the jet.
