It is found that the luminosity variations of the Be star Lambda Eri have a different periodicity from that of radial variations. On the basis of an analysis of photoelectric and spectrographic data obtained at the Merate observatory, it is concluded that during the observing time of five consecutive nights the variability of Be Lambda Eri did not represent evidence of pulsation.
