From the positional measurement of the loop-prominence that occurred on the western limb on 27 April 1981 and its comparison with hard X-ray images simultaneously obtained by SXT on board HINOTORI, it is concluded that the hard X-ray sources were situated at the foot part of the flare loop, and the thick target emission mechanism of X rays is proved by the observations. At the same time, combining with the morphological tracing for the Hα observational data, a powerful observational evidence is given as to the explanation of impulsive phase, flash phase, and main phase of flares in the current sheet flare model.
